The White Oak Foundation, Inc., WOF, is hard at work keeping families in their homes by saving them from foreclosure, educating potential homebuyers & renters, ensuring that families have food to eat through our twice weekly Food Bank distribution and daily Friendship cafe; with  free hot meals and activities for seniors, providing scholarships to those seeking to prepare for the future, and providing crisis assistance with utilities bills and other financial hardships. In short, we’re busy improving our communities and bringing economic stability to families in need.  With your financial support our work to “care for the total person” flourishes.

We are grateful to our current supporters and are happy to share our accomplishments with you:

• Provided housing counseling to hard-working families through our Housing Counseling program, including saving over 540 homes from foreclosure since our formation
• Provided rental assistance, medical assistance & utility payment assistance to families in crisis;
• Provided budget counseling and financial literacy education to over 40 families;
• Provided meals and activities for senior citizens;
• Provided food boxes to  families;
• Provided Summer Enrichment Camp  program of tutoring & mentoring to youth;  
• Awarded $35,000 in scholarships in 2024 and $19,000 in 2024 to deserving scholars in the community; and
• Hosted multiple health & wellness screenings including a Blood Mobile, Dental, Mammogram and other Mobile Health Activities.
